In preparation for the July 19 elderly visit, we would like to put together a blessing bag for each resident and each caregiver along with a handwritten note of love and encouragement. For the caregivers, we want to remind them that work is done with love and kindness, and for the residents, this will reflect our spirit of service.
We will be meeting and assembling pencil pouches to be delivered to an underserved school in our community. We will pack the pouches and prepare them for drop off. The pouches will be filled with school supplies such as pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, crayons, glue sticks, colored pencils, safety scissors and more. We will also include a handwritten note encouraging them for the upcoming school year.
We will be selling lemonade and homemade sweets on the Hamilton Square! All proceeds will be donated to a single mom or a widow in our community! This is a great opportunity for kids to get to serve! Participants are encouraged to bring cookies, brownies, cake pops, cake slices, or pie slices to sell! Reach out to Alyssa King if you have any questions! (706)457-3737
